Dr. Rob Bruner

Owner/Chief Veterinarian Dr. Rob Bruner grew up around animals and veterinary medicine. His father was a longtime veterinarian in Harlowton, Montana. Pursuing a love of medicine, Dr. Rob graduated from the University of Montana then served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Malawi (Africa) for more than two years. After graduating from Colorado State University’s Veterinary Medicine & Biological Science program in 2000, he practiced for three years at an all-animal clinic in Flagstaff, Arizona. In 2003, he brought his new bride, Cynthia, back to the state he loves. Dr. Rob and Cynthia developed a plan for a small animal clinic that would meet all the needs of small animals in a compassionate environment, and in 2005 they built Big Sky Pet Center. At home Dr. Rob is surrounded by animals and a couple two-legged critters (Kyra and Ret), and no matter what time of year it is, when he’s not home you can bet he’s fishing.

Dr. Angel Davis

Dr. Davis has been practicing Veterinary medicine since 2005 with a special interest in feline medicine and surgery. Originally from Minnesota, she moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming at the age of 19 to work as a Wrangler and drove a team of Clydesdale horses for sleigh rides. She then moved to Arizona and worked as a “Hot Shot”, fighting wild land fires for a season. After having her “out west” adventures, she returned to Minnesota and earned her DVM at the University of Minnesota college of Veterinary medicine in 2005. After graduation she owned a mixed animal practice in Minnesota and traveled on weekends to Fargo North Dakota to serve as a Veterinarian at the horse racetrack. After doing this for numerous years, the “west” started to call her name and she moved to Montana, where she has lived for 7 years now. In her spare time Dr. Davis enjoys the outdoors, riding her horses in the mountains, and spending time with her animals and family members in Bozeman, Montana.

Michaela is our head receptionist that has been with us since Fall of 2013. She was born and raised here in Billings and has always had a dog or cat in the house. She has painted some murals in our dog suites and manages our Facebook and Website pages. In her down time she enjoys painting, walking her dogs, snuggling her cats and catching up on sunshine!

Tara joined our team in September of 2018. She was born and raised in Billings and has recently moved back after twenty years of being gone. Her family always had cats and/or dogs. She served in the military for nine years doing admin/reception type work and enjoys working with people. In her off time she takes long walks with her dogs, reads, and loves playing word games on her phone.

Jill has been a phenomenal Lead Veterinarian Technician with us since Spring of 2013. She was born in Havre but raised here in Billings. She has always loved animals and has worked around horses and dogs for most of her life. In her time away from work she can be found outdoors; camping, rafting, and fishing with her husband and their two Boston Terriers and Heeler mix.

Nicole is one of our awesome Vet Techs that has been here since Winter of 2014. She went through the Penn Foster Vet Assistant Program to get her certification. She was born in Ohio and moved here about eight years ago. In her down time you will find her out camping and fishing with her dogs and family.

Seren started with us in August of 2019. She was born and raised in Chisago City, Minnesota. She had dogs while growing up and brought home every stray cat she could find; along with bunnies and a few fish. At first she was interested in being a dental hygienist but always seemed to find herself back at another clinic with animals. In her time off she loves to read, do art projects, hang out with her bird and do anything outside if it’s nice enough.

Jackie started with us in September of 2019. She was born in Michigan and moved to Texas in 2001. While growing up she had all kinds of critters; horses, cows, goats, ducks, rabbits, hamsters, cats and dogs. When she was little she always wanted to be working with animals. Working with animals is the most interesting job ever. In her time off she watches movies with her dogs, does photography, and spends quality time with family.

Kennel Attendants

Michelle started with us in the Fall on 2018. She was born and raised right here in Billings, MT. She always had a pet while growing up but seemed to be more of a dog lover. Lily is her Min Pin mix who is the apple of her eye! She loves to go for walks in the park with her and watch movies cuddled up together on the couch.

Shanna started with us Spring of 2019. She grew up in a small town playing in the river and exploring the prairies of North Dakota. She had all sorts of animals growing up such as dogs, cats, chickens, quail, turkey, lizards and any other animal rescued; wild or domesticated. Along with the love for animals, she gives comfort in times of stress. She keeps things fun and new in her life; from going to new places or stores every week or going for a road trip to enjoy Montana’s many views!
